Skydive Raises Support for Brain Injury Survivors

Nearly 100 local people accessing Headway Black Country’s services will benefit from a charity skydive, helping raise vital funds for life-changing support.

Debbie Pejica, Chair of Headway Black Country, and Andrea Cloughley, Chartered Financial Adviser from BNI Eagle, are taking the plunge from 10,000 feet as part of the 2025 fundraising challenge.

The money raised will help Headway continue providing life-changing rehabilitation, support, and advocacy for brain injury survivors and their families across the Black Country.

Jayne Emery, Chief Officer at Headway Black Country, said:

“Every penny raised from this skydive will go directly towards our services from helping people rebuild essential skills after injury, to providing a safe space for them to connect with others who understand. We rely heavily on fundraising to keep these services going, so this challenge is not just exciting, it’s vital for the people we support.”

Debbie Pejica added:

“I have seen first-hand the incredible work Headway does to help rebuild lives. Jumping out of a plane might seem scary, but it’s nothing compared to the challenges faced by people living with brain injury every single day.”

Andrea Cloughley shared:

“I wanted to take part in something that would push me out of my comfort zone while making a real difference. Supporting Headway means helping local people get the care, resources, and hope they need after a life-changing injury.”
