Headway Black Country chair and BNI member take on 10,000ft charity skydive
10th March 2026
Debbie Pejica, Chair of Trustees at Headway Black Country, and Andrea Cloughley, Chartered Financial Adviser and member of BNI Eagle, are preparing to take on a 10,000-foot charity skydive to raise vital funds for people impacted by brain injury and their families.
Originally planned as a 2025 fundraising challenge, the jump was postponed due to adverse weather conditions. Determined to complete what they started, Debbie and Andrea have rescheduled the challenge and will now take to the skies on 21 March 2026 at Tilstock Airfield.

The funds raised will directly support Headway Black Country’s work across the region, including structured recovery programmes, rehabilitation activities, peer support sessions and practical guidance for families and carers.
Brain injury can have life-changing consequences, often requiring long-term support, specialist intervention and strong community connections. Fundraising initiatives like this play a crucial role in sustaining those services.

Jayne Emery, Chief Officer of Headway Black Country, said:
“Community fundraising is the lifeblood of charities like ours. Without it, many of the recovery programmes and support services we provide simply wouldn’t exist.
“The support we receive through networks like BNI Eagle shows the strength of local partnerships and a shared commitment to making a real difference.
Challenges like this also help raise awareness of brain injury and the resilience of those rebuilding their lives.”
Debbie and Andrea added:
“We wanted to take on a challenge that pushes us beyond our comfort zones while supporting an important local cause. Being part of the BNI Eagle network and working alongside Headway Black Country makes this even more meaningful. We hope the community will get behind us and help us raise as much as possible.”
