Stephen Austin

About me & my role at Headway:

Stephen joined Headway Black Country in October 2024 as a Trustee and has since taken up a staff role as Business Relationship Manager.

He brings over 30 years of experience in Business Development, Crisis and Business Continuity Management, primarily within the Financial Services sector.

Stephen has worked with major organisations including NatWest, PwC, Prudential, Witt O’Brien’s, Experian, Ricardo and Paragon Banking Group.

In addition to his professional background, Stephen has extensive governance and committee experience. He serves as a Director of Dudley Town Football Club, where he has been involved for over 50 years.

Stephen has lived in Dudley for his entire life. This, coupled with his previous Business Development and professional experience and extensive network of local contacts built up over many years association with the Football Club, will aid Stephen in succeeding in this brand-new role for the Charity.

Outside of work, Stephen enjoys all sports, sunny holidays, and spending time with his four grandchildren.
